I love love. I'm a hopeful romantic, raised on fairy tales and the belief that love conquers all. It's that belief that first led me to designing and planning weddings back in 2008. It helped that organisation and project management came naturally to me, too!
I believe that when we find our person, we should hold tight, enjoy the ride that is life and never let go. And I truly feel that finding each other deserves to be celebrated in a way that feels entirely your own.
For me, there's something particularly special about a wedding created from the ground up. Perhaps it's a family garden full of memories, the grounds of a private estate or a beautiful property chosen especially for the occasion. Each offers something a traditional venue can't always give you; the freedom to create a celebration that feels entirely you.
That's the beauty of a blank canvas. Rather than fitting your plans around an existing space, around rules that have always been, you have the opportunity to shape the setting, the atmosphere and every considered detail around your vision. A place becomes your place for the day, transformed into something that could never be replicated elsewhere.
Because the most extraordinary weddings don't always begin with a venue. Sometimes, they begin with a place you love and the possibility of making it extraordinary.

I'm at the helm of Alexis Blank Canvas Weddings, leading the planning, creative direction and logistics alongside my talented team of doers and stylists. Together, we bring over 120 years of combined experience to creating weddings, thoughtfully designed from the ground up.
Since 2008, I've had the privilege of creating luxury weddings and celebrations for wonderful people, transforming private homes, gardens and estates into settings that feel every bit as special as the people gathering in them.

This is where the real planning begins. We work through the practicalities of your setting, from site access and infrastructure to power, water, catering facilities, facilities for guests, supplier requirements and the flow of the day. We establish what's needed, what can be achieved and how every element will work together, creating a solid foundation for everything that follows.

Now we can get creative.
With the foundations in place, we turn our attention to the creative vision. From the overall aesthetic and spatial design to florals, furniture, lighting and finishing touches, we develop a cohesive design that works with the setting and feels entirely your own.
